Four adults are detained in their apartments with only each other and a computer for online company. They each come from a different class with differing views but they all have one defining purpose to understand why they are really being held hostage in their own homes. The AI refuses to reveal the reason.
This whole thing is really a reaction to 2020. It’s a giant collage of thoughts and feelings. I felt like we were all in detention, getting a timeout from the world as we expected it to be and being put in boxes to think about what we have done (as GAL says at the start), to entertain ourselves (the competition), to find ourselves again (reversion to childhood with the characters singing "Old MacDonald Had a Farm"...I have oddly found myself singing childhood songs for no particular reason) and on top of this timeout, we are also dealing with many political issues, the right versus the left vs the apathetic vs the mainstream that is at this point confused. Society is at a bit of a loss.
