This musical comedy tells the tale of a black drag queen who seduces a mafia don in the hopes of stopping the closure of her two places of employment but in the end finds the tables have turned.
Meanwhile, her co-workers at a beauty salon in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn pine for true love and a singer at the Club of Queens where she performs is hiding a terrible secret – being a straight, unemployed actor.
Fun fact: Shari secretly wants to make this film because she hopes to keep the glittery, shiny clothing that will be worn by cast members. In fact, she wants that in her contract.
